Let’s face it, not everyone eagerly anticipates their appointments with the dentist. Our office hopes and strives to change the anxiety you may feel. However, until this occurs, Dr. Stucki has completed additional training in order to offer conscious sedation to our patients. We offer multiple sedation options to help your experience at our office be as pleasant as possible. Let us know how we can help alleviate your fears of coming to the dentist.
Types of Sedation
Also known as laughing gas – Nitrous Oxide is inhaled through a nasal mask during treatment and acts to relax the patient and lessen discomfort.
A medicine taken in pill form that puts you into a more relaxed state than with laughing gas. It also lasts a little longer.
Strong medications are given through an IV in the arm or hand to help with pain and swelling. Allows ultimate comfort.
